Back in April there was an eclipse. Something in me thought it was a good idea to stay up until 1:30 AM to see this. It actually was pretty cool and I'm happy I did it. I got to try out my camera at night, which is always a bit of a challenge for me. I like to try out new lighting/environment to try and figure out how to best take pictures. I'd love to take a class soon but am having a hard time finding on that will accept my camera. Since it's not a basic point and shoot or a traditional DSLR. Anyways on to the pictures!
I'm actually pretty proud of how these came out. I've never been able to get such close up pictures of the moon before. I'm hopeful that later this year I can get another lens or two.
