The Zoo!

When my mom was in town for Easter we decided to go to the zoo. I love the zoo and am so glad X loves animals as much as he does. I seriously forgot just how BIG it is because the last few years we've only gone during Zoo Lights and they close off a lot of the Zoo. X was great all day, sat in his stroller for most of the trip. I'm so happy they have the two little playgrounds though. Xavier reallly needed to run around and get his energy out a few times.

How cute is this little guy?

X loved these! He kept running around their pen saying "How cute, they're cute!"

We got to feed the Girraffs! I've always wanted to do this but the line is usually long and it costs an arm and a leg. But the day we went it was only $7 and there were only 2 people in line ahead of us. I had a great time but X was not sure about them at all. Even though he grinned and squealed about them right as we walked away.

Xavier was upset the lions were asleep. He kept yelling "Wake up Lions, wake up. Cockadoodle doo!"

Matt didn't get to go with us because he had a job interview that day. When we were leaving He was telling X about all the animals and told him to say hi to the dragons for him. I think X was a little confused when I pointed out the Komodo Dragon but said "Daddy says Hi" to him anyways.

Cooling off at the water park. X saw this as we were coming down the hill and ran to it.

Should've given him this treat before the water park so it'd wash him off :)

I love this picture because I have one almost exactly like it from a trip we went on right after I graduated high school. I'll have to see if I can find it and scan it in to compare.

We walked forever away into the Zoo for the "Petting" Zoo. Unfortunately for us it was just these goats. X loved it though. He screamed when we made him leave.
