Concussion

I'm so close to recaping X's 2nd Birthday. I can't believe I'm this far behind! Anyways as I may have mentioned a few times on here Matt plays hockey on Thursday nights. He's pretty good if you ask me (even if I am a little bias).

Anyways hockey is a rough sport so I'm use to Matt getting hit and having a sore this or that. But when I got a text message the Friday before X's birthday saying that Matt was feeling dizzy, sick and had an awful headache; I knew something more than the usual aches were the cause. So his sister Steph brought him into the ED at work to get him checked out. Thankfully after X-Ray's and a CT we learned that he just had a minor concussion. So aside from waking up every two hours to make sure Matt and some crazy bad headaches on Matt's side of things, everything worked out ok with that.

Being nice to Daddy since he didn't feel well.

I'm so thankful for my amazing husband. It's scary when one of the people you love most in the world is sick and hurt. Everyday at work I count my blessings for our health and well being. I hope this is the last time we have a concussion in this house...even though I know our crazy kid will probably have a few ED trips in his adolescence.
